By accessing or using Dinero at thedineroapp.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dinero is a personal and household budgeting application that allows you to track spending, manage budgets, set savings goals, monitor investments, and track credit card balances. All financial data is manually entered by you.

Dinero is not a financial advisor, bank, or investment platform. We do not provide financial advice, and the information displayed (including live stock/crypto prices) is for informational purposes only.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use Dinero. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

4. Subscription & Payments

Dinero offers a subscription plan at $1.99/month. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe’s customer portal
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support for assistance
• Promotional pricing or free trials may be offered at our discretion

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into Dinero. We do not claim any rights to your personal data. You may export your data at any time via the Settings page.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Dinero does not verify, audit, or guarantee the accuracy of any financial information displayed.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Share your account credentials with others (use the joint account feature instead)

7. Investment & Price Data

Dinero displays stock prices, cryptocurrency prices, and commodity prices from third-party sources (Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko). This data:

• May be delayed and is not guaranteed to be accurate or real-time
• Is provided for informational purposes only
• Should not be used as the sole basis for investment decisions

Dinero is not a registered investment advisor. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dinero and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Dinero is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on data displayed in the app.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@thedineroapp.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
